EQ2 Arrived today

Well i finally got my eq2:CE game today..
Looks cool i can't wait to get home and try it out.

you are probably wondering now .. what took so long???
it s a long story .

Anyway the friday before the game came out i recieved the following from SOE.

"Thank you for your recent pre-order or order of EverQuest [R] II: Collector’s

Edition.



We experienced an unfortunate delay with U.S. Customs in clearing importation of

recent shipments of the "tin" in which it is packaged.  As a result we will not

begin shipping the orders for these units until late this week.



We offer you our apology. 



At this time we would like to offer you the ability to cancel your Station Store

pre-order or order.  No refund is necessary as your product has not been shipped

and you have not been charged for the purchase. 



To cancel send your Station Name and Order number to returns@soe.sony.com.

Requests for cancellation must be received by 6:00 PM PST on Wednesday, November

10, 2004. Once you request the cancellation you will be unable to reinstate that

order.  If you decide you want the product you will need to visit the Station

Store to repurchase it

If you choose not to cancel your pre-order or pending order (and purchase the

Collector’s Edition from the Station Store), we will include an additional seven

(7) days service in addition to the regular thirty (30) days once you register a

Collector’s Edition account key.

How lame is that... not to mention the cost involved.. i will never order a collectors edition game again.. ( unless it's Wing Commander)

Well now i get to sit at work and pine for quitting time so i can go install the 3dvd set..
